With the launch of our live one-to-one resistance training, we wanted to share how resistance band is a perfect way of using resistance training to burn fat. With the spread of Corona virus, our movements are restricted now & it is important to find out some creative ways/workout to meet our fat loss goals.

Let us talk about resistance bands first! Resistance band is like a portable gym & a light, portable yet challenging workout tool that has been a favorite of trainers.

What are the benefits of resistance bands?

  1. Can be used across all levels from beginner to heavy workout- The band’s intensity is based upon its thickness. Grab a thicker brand if you want to do a tough workout. Beginners can use a thinner one. It comes with 4 to 5 levels of thickness.
  2. Flexibility– Resistance band/tube is quite versatile & gives you options to move your joints in different ways.
  3. Light in portable– Whether you are travelling, going to a park or working out from home, the band allows you to do strength training anytime, anywhere. You can carry the brand in your gym &/or travelling bag.
  4. Affordable– Most bands cost you $ 25 or less. They are everywhere, you can find them on most e-commerce platforms/ retail stores such as Amazon, Target, Walmart. You can even find them at Chemist.

Due to the ease of band you can use it to do strength training anywhere whether you are in a gym, park, hotel or any chosen location.

Right from cardio, functional to strength training covering chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders, legs & back- name any exercise/muscle group, resistance band does it all.

We are sharing 10 minutes resistance bands workout with cardio. You’ll perform each move below for 1 minute. You’ll alternate between one minute of a resistance band move and one minute of a cardio burst. 

  1. Cardio burst-Spot jogging
  2. Resistance band side to side squats
  3. Cardio burst-Jumping Jack
  4. Resistance band-chest press
  5. Cardio burst-Burpees
  6. Resistance band-Thigh blaster
  7. Cardio burst-Spot running
  8. Resistance band overhead press
  9. Cardio Burst-Jumping Jack
  10. Resistance band-Mid Back pull
