Clinical study on 2 billion molecular data sets

To validate the hypothesis of our machine learning driven biological age equation( model), we conducted a clinical study on 2 billion molecular data sets coming from 66 subjects. We bifurcated these 66 subjects into the discovery cohort (47, healthy controls) & validation cohort(19, diseased subjects ). We then looked at the mean biological age score for each of the pathways for both the discovery & validation cohort groups & calculated the expression level of each of the assigned pathways.

We then calculated P value of each of the pathways of validation group & then adjusted it using Benjamini-Hochberg test.

Using adj P value with threshold of P value< 0.05, we determined which specific pathways were significant which were included for the biological age score model. Our statistical analysis showcased that our hypothesis for biological age score is true.
